UNBEATEN--St. Helens' Weston Tanner went unbeaten in a tournament at Wilsonville last Friday.

The St. Helens Lions did fairly well at a tune-up tournament in Wilsonville last Friday.
The Lions changed their line-up around before each dual match and split their four matches.
“This was a low-key event with great competition,” Coach Mike McCoy said.
The Lions started with a 72-12 win over Madison, lost to Barlow, 38-27, beat Wilsonville, 45-36, and lost to Clackamas, 47-24.
The Lions’ Andrew Duggan (103) and Ben Minton (112) were 3-1 in the tournament. Izak Snyder went 3-0 at 130. Weston Tanner was 4-0 at 140 pounds with three pins and a forfeit. Aaron Vongsara-vanhlao was 2-2 at 135. Jon Luttrell was 1-3 at 119. Jacob Hilsinger was 2-0 and Jerek Pense was 1-1, both at 145. Hilsinger was 0-1 at 152. Brandon Boydstun was 1-3 at 125. Anthony Harrell was 1-0 at 130. Zach Gross was 2-1 at 152. Travis Jenkins was 1-0 at 160 and 0-1 at 171. Jonah Asher was 2-1 at 160. Eroc Reddomg was 1-2 at 171. Nick Rohrig was 1-0 at 189. Brady Johnson was 1-2 at 189 and 0-1 at 215. Zack Nutting was 1-1 at both 215 and 285.
