The St. Helens swim teams wasted little time in dispatching Liberty on Tuesday afternoon.
The girls posted a 109-60 win, while the boys bested that margin for the first time in recent memory, 112-55. The girls won 10 of the 11 events, and the boys won nine.
The girls tried some different events, but still dominated. Individual event winners included: Kaitlyn Stroda in the 200 individual medley; Theresa Quennoz in the 50 free; Heather Spears in the 100 butterfly; Adena Fenrich in the 100 free; Alisha Haresnape in the 500 free; and Jackie Widdifield in the 100 breast. The girls also won all three relays.
The boys also won all three relays. They had individual firsts from Sam Lawrence in the 200 and 100 free, Jon Beeler in the 50 free and 100 fly, Austin Sanford in the 200 IM, and Will Lawrence in the 100 back.
The team is at Glencoe this coming Thursday.
